Terms of Service
The rules for accounts, uploads, purchases, public profiles, and use of choppa.lol.
Last Updated: August 23, 2026
1. Agreement and service
These Terms govern access to choppa.lol and its profile, customization, analytics, connection, upload, template, and purchasing features (the "Service"). The legally responsible service provider is identified separately in the Provider Notice.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to use the Service. If the law where you live requires consent from a parent or guardian, you must have that consent before using the Service.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, threatening, deceptive, or rights-infringing content or conduct. Do not distribute malware, impersonate others, evade moderation, scrape protected areas, interfere with the Service, probe it without authorization, or manipulate profile views, purchases, or analytics.
Links, files, templates, names, and profile content must be safe, lawful, and content you are authorized to publish.
4. Your content and the operational license
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the service provider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, resize, cache, transmit, publicly display or play, and make that content available only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, back up, and provide the Service.
This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup cycles, legal retention duties, security records, and copies already lawfully shared by others. Public profile content can be accessed by anyone with the profile address and may be indexed if you enable indexing.
5. Music, video, images, fonts, and other protected material
You may upload a file only if you created it, it is genuinely in the public domain, or you have written permission covering every use required by the Service. Depending on the file, this can include rights in the composition and lyrics, sound recording or master, performers' performances, synchronization of music with images, photographs, artwork, fonts, trademarks, privacy, and publicity.
Buying a song, owning a copy, holding a streaming subscription, crediting an artist, or finding a file online does not by itself grant permission to upload, host, stream, display, or synchronize it. A license limited to personal use is not sufficient for a public choppa.lol profile.
You warrant that every upload is authorized for hosting and public availability through the Service, that the service provider can exercise the operational license above without paying an undisclosed third party, and that you will keep reliable evidence of your permission and provide it when reasonably requested.
The Service does not sell or grant music, film, image, font, trademark, or collecting-society licenses unless a feature expressly says so in writing. Staff, administrators, Premium users, and free users are subject to the same rights requirements.
6. Lawful exceptions
Applicable law may permit limited uses such as quotation, criticism, review, caricature, parody, or pastiche. You are responsible for ensuring that all legal conditions are met. Labelling a use as fair use, parody, or non-commercial does not automatically make it lawful.
7. External links and connected services
Profiles may link to third-party websites and connect to services such as Discord and Google. Those services are controlled by their operators and their terms and privacy practices apply.
We do not endorse or control external content and are not responsible for third-party availability, security, purchases, or conduct. A link must not misleadingly imply sponsorship or affiliation.
8. Moderation, restrictions, and review
We may review, demote, restrict, remove, or disable content, links, templates, or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or systems, investigate abuse, preserve evidence, or comply with law. Measures may use automated signals and human review and will be proportionate where required.
Where applicable, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to request review. We may act immediately where delay could cause harm, expose the Service to liability, compromise security, or violate a legal order.
9. Illegal-content and copyright notices
A notice should identify the allegedly unlawful material, its exact choppa.lol URL, why it is unlawful, the reporting party's contact details, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. Copyright-specific instructions appear in the Copyright Policy.
We may request missing information, preserve relevant records, forward a notice to the affected user where lawful, and remove or restrict material when a sufficiently precise notice or other information gives us the knowledge required to act.
10. Repeat infringement and abuse of reports
We may warn, restrict, or terminate repeat or serious infringers after considering the nature, frequency, and apparent intent of violations. We may also act against users who repeatedly submit manifestly unfounded notices or complaints.
11. Purchases and Premium
Prices, taxes, and included features are shown before checkout. Payment processing is provided by Stripe. "Premium Lifetime" means access for the supported lifetime of the product and purchasing account, not the lifetime of any person or company.
File-size and monthly upload allowances are separate product limits. Statutory cancellation, refund, warranty, and consumer rights remain unaffected. Any voluntary policy shown at checkout applies in addition to mandatory rights.
12. Platform ownership
The Service, excluding user content, including its software, branding, interface, and original assets, is owned by or licensed to the service provider. These Terms do not transfer those rights. Do not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or exploit protected parts of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
13. Service availability and data
We may maintain, update, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the Service available but cannot promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Keep independent copies of content and permission records you cannot afford to lose.
14. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, product liability, fraud, or any right or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
Where a limitation is lawful, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to losses that were typical and reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
15. Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. Material changes will be communicated where required, and the current version and date will remain available here. Continued use after an effective update may require renewed acceptance.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Mandatory law and jurisdiction rules, including consumer protections, remain unaffected. Legal contact details are in the Provider Notice.
